My first aerial photography shots (mid
2001)
This is one of our flying sites.
The camera is a Kodak EZ-200, low cost 640x480.
It is mounted under the fuselage, pointing straight down.
Home
base with two .40 trainers
waiting.
Doors open, bonnets up!
This
is a plant nursery nearby.
The eastern-most hangar is just
visible on the left side of the pic.
A
little more left than the previous shot.
Sorry
about the tilt, but I lost quality when I tried to rotate it.
We pulled the nose up for this one, and it fell off to the left.
It's
always nice when other flyers drop in!
The pics were taken from the Senior Telemaster. The camera is now mounted obliquely
on the side of the fuselage, and a video camera to help aim it. More pics soon!
Here is the
camera/video mounting plate with the Kodak on the left, and the pcb video
camera in its mounting box.
The servo which triggers the Kodak camera is between the two cameras, with
its lead through the front hole. The plate is hinged, and can be lowered to
be horizontal for vertical viewing.
