Bush & Backwaters are Bookmark's original tour operators and have played a leading role in the development of sustainable tourism in the Bookmark Biosphere Reserve and the implementation of the Bookmark Guides program, officially launched in 1999.
Joe has spent his whole life exploring and appreciating the bush and backwaters of what is now the Bookmark Biosphere Reserve and along the mighty River Murray.
Bush & Backwaters are also nationally accredited ecotourism operators. All our guides have undergone an extensive training and accreditation program to become endorsed 'Bookmark Guides'.
